Dear Prospective Parent/Care giver, My name is Jackie O'Neal. I am a parent of two children. A son 16 and a daughter 13 years old. My oldest son was diagnosed with Autism when he was 2 1/2 years old. As you might imagine, the diagnosis was devastating because as parents, we put all are hopes and dreams in our children. However, instead of focusing upon the things my son could not do, I focused upon his special qualities and what he could do or aspire to do. This aspired me to eventually receive my education certificate and work with students. It is my goal to help students realize their strengths so that they can work upon areas of improvement , endow them with feelings that they can be successful, and teach them the skills based on their individuality. I am responsible, caring, organized, knowledgible in academics, and resourceful in helping students succeed.
